Ingredients

serves 10 Ingredients Balls 400g/14oz Quorn mince 400g/14oz vegetarian haggis 20ml/4 tsp dried basil 225g/8oz wholemeal breadcrumbs 3 eggs seasoning (optional) Tomato Sauce 225g/8oz medium onions, chopped 15ml/1 tbsp olive oil 10ml/2 tsp dried basil 5ml/1 tsp garlic powder 2 x 800g/1lb 12oz tinned chopped tomatoes 60ml/4 tbsp tomato puree 5ml/1 tsp sugar seasoning (optional)

Preparation method

Method Mix together all the ingredients for the balls, divide into 30 and roll into balls, place on a lightly oiled baking tray and place in the oven for 15 mins (gas 4/180oc). For the sauce, gently fry the onions in the olive oil until golden brown. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 10 mins. Blend the sauce. Season to taste. Mix together the sauce and meatballs. Serve with pasta.
