Andrew Wilson and Carolyne Vale were named on the Top 200 Most Influential People in Leicestershire listing, compiled by the Leicester Mercury newspaper.
The enterprising couple established Wilson Vale in 2002 on £50K capital and continue to grow their business to a forecasted £24 million turnover for 2016, employing 700 people.
Andrew Wilson said: “We are smiling and humbled, but it is the great team behind us who should take the praise as it is their hard work and passion for this business that have made Wilson Vale what it is today. Our names may be ‘above the door’ but they are the real influencers.”
The Ashby-based company has a portfolio of 90 clients, stretching from independent schools and conference venues, to corporate headquarters of leading B&I organisations.
