Abstract
Independent catering company, Wilson Vale, has retained a contract worth £300k in annual turnover with the National House Building Company (NHBC) at its Milton Keynes headquarters.

Wilson Vale first gained the staff-catering contract in 2004 before NHBC moved to its Milton Keynes base where a team of seven has managed services for 500 NHBC staff.

Andrew Wilson, co-founder and managing director of Wilson Vale, said: ”Ten years on, we are absolutely thrilled with the evolution of the catering service and we continue to work closely with our client to develop it further to meet NHBC’s expectations and requirements.

“Winning new business is great but retaining valued clients is even better because it reflects the relationships we hold and our ability to adapt to changing needs.”

Andrew Searle, NHBC head of facilities management, said: ”Over the past ten years we have seen our catering operation develop through the dedication, energy and genuine interest of the Wilson Vale team. We are confident that their consistent standards of good food and service will continue to take our restaurant to new levels.”

Wilson Vale now has 80 contracts, mainly within the business & industry, independent schools and venue sectors. Current annual turnover is £19.5 million and the company employs 550 staff.
