Wilde Thyme shortlisted for event caterer award

Perthshire-based luxury event caterer Wilde Thyme has been shortlisted for an award at this year’s Scottish Event Awards.

The caterer, established in 2003, has been nominated for Event Caterer of the Year at the awards, following a number of contract wins including the Oil and Gas Gala Dinner and the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Andrew Hamer, chef patron and managing director of Wilde Thyme, said: “It has been a very exciting year for Wilde Thyme, we’ve invested in what matters the most to us: our clients, suppliers and staff to ensure our continued success and the last 12 months have been our most successful to date. This shortlisting is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team.

“We’ve been lucky enough to cater for some of Scotland’s most prestigious events, championing Scottish food and drink and I’m delighted that our unique and innovative culinary creations, all made using Scottish produce and suppliers, has been recognised by the Scottish Event Awards.”

The Scottish Event Awards will take place on 5th October at Glasgow’s Radisson Hotel.
