The new café, situated in the newly restored Engine House building, will form an essential part of the visitor experience.

The catering provider will also have the opportunity to cater for a large number of corporate events and private hires within the Victorian Engine House.

The tender will go live on the London Tenders Portal on 17th October 2016 and will be open until 12 noon on 28th November 2016.

An Information session and site visit will take place on Thursday 3rd November 11am – 1pm at Walthamstow Wetlands.

The £8.5million Walthamstow Wetlands project is led by Waltham Forest Council and supported by Heritage Lottery Fund, and will see the 200 hectares of Walthamstow Reservoirs opened up to the public in summer 2017.
