Abstract
The University of Greenwich has become the latest education provider to join the Institute of Hospitality’s Education Membership Scheme (EMS).

The decision from the university will enable hospitality, leisure and tourism (HLT) students to qualify for free student membership to the Institute of Hospitality.

Maria Gebbels, lecturer in hospitality management at The University of Greenwich, said: “The University of Greenwich is proud to have joined the Institute of Hospitality’s Education Membership Scheme.

“This is free for students and membership will give them access to valuable industry resources and contribute toward their academic and professional journey.”

Over 70 academic institutions take part in the EMS, which offers hospitality, leisure and tourism departments of recognised universities access to the institute’s resources for HLT students currently enrolled.
