Abstract
Total coffee solution provider, UCC Coffee UK & Ireland, has today (9 May) announced that it has exceeded £100 million sales turnover while unveiling its new £1.3 million refurbished headquarters.

Topping off the celebrations with another “major milestone”, the company, owned by Japanese brand UCC Holdings, now employs over 500 people across the UK and Ireland.

Setting the company back £1.3m, its Milton Keynes headquarters has undergone a “full” refurbishment, including a brand new training and demonstration facility for its Coffee Works programme.

It also completely upgraded its on-site workshop to double the size and make it “more efficient” for its service and maintenance team. Heavy investment in technology allowed it to install a telemetry hub, which allows engineers to manage machines from afar and pre-empt issues using live diagnostics.

Managing director Elaine Swift, commented: “UCC Coffee UK & Ireland has gone from strength to strength over the past two decades. In that time, we’ve worked with the biggest names across international retailers and foodservice, as well as smaller businesses, all looking to deliver the highest-quality coffee possible.

“Everything we’ve done and do is built on an ethos derived from our Japanese heritage – innovation, hard work and a dedication to delivering exceptional coffee to every customer.

“The past has been great to us, but now we’ve hit these major milestones it’s time to look forward.

“With our growing team, global network, new look brand and website, and the vast investment we’ve put into our Milton Keynes headquarters and Dartford roastery, the future for us and our customers is more exciting than ever, and we can’t wait to get our Total Coffee Solution in front of more businesses.”
