TUCO gearing up for 300 mile cycle for charity
Abstract
The University Caterers Organisation (TUCO) is inviting its members and directors to cycle 300 miles for charity in July, as they pedal from Manchester to Exeter to raise thousands of pounds for Hospitality Action and the riders’ personal choice.

With four days on the road, members will have to cover an estimated 75 miles a day to ensure they make it on time for the start of the conference.

Julie Barker, chair of TUCO, said: “Some serious training is going to be needed for some of us but it’s an incredible challenge that will not only push us to our physical limits but enable us to make a difference to people’s lives and that is a powerful reason for doing it.

“There will probably be a lot of sweat and tears, but what better way to arrive at the 2016 Conference…as long as we all make it in one piece!”

TUCO is inviting members, suppliers and Industry professionals to get behind the initiative and help the organisation raise money for worthy causes, which benefits thousands of people across the Hospitality Sector.
