Spice Time gets the healthy meal approval

Ethnic food firm Spice Time has had the seal of healthy approval on their puff pastry range after having their products nutritional level analysed.
Spice Time arranged to have their puff pastry products examined for their levels of fat, nutrition and calories, the overall findings have resulted in the range being healthy and nutritious. Spice Time are a family run company that have been manufacturing a wide range of authentic handmade meat and vegetarian snacks and meals for over eleven years in their home town of Birmingham. They supply to the cost sector catering industry and when they received feedback from schools that healthier alternatives to fried products were needed Spice Time responded by creating the puff pastry range. The puff pastry Katlamas range between 62 and 109 calories and the vegetable Katlama's contain iron, zinc and calcium. After creating the puff pastry range there was an overwhelming positive response from schools and cost sector catering companies. Faisal, the director said: "There are not many ethnic food manufacturers that produce chilled and frozen food that is healthy with no additives or colourings. The puff pastry range is most popular range and as it is a product that is oven baked it is healthy as well as being tasty. Overall we want to focus on the quality and authenticity of all the food that we manufacture."
