S.Pellegrino hosts Young Chef competition launch at Dabbous
Abstract
S.Pellegrino’s search for 2016’s Young Chef of the Year has begun with a launch breakfast at London’s Dabbous restaurant.

The event was attended by 2015 Young Chef Mark Moriarty and the Michelin starred jury made up of Claude Bosi, Ollie Dabbous, Ross Lewis and JP McMahon who all took part in a live Q&A.

Mark Moriarty, said: “I was delighted and honoured to be named S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2015.

“The journey was an unforgettable, one off experience that I will always remember. I met so many fantastic chefs along the way and the title has made an incredible difference to my career as a whole.”

Entries close on March 31st before ALMA, the international training centre for Italian cuisine, selects 10 semi finalists for each of the 20 regions. Semi finalists will then be asked to cook their signature dish in the presence of a local jury that selects one finalist to go forward to the grand final in October.
