Abstract
Luxury hospitality brand Searcys has won a five-year contract to provide hospitality services to One Moorgate Place, home of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Searcys was selected to provide catering for events and the venue’s members’ cafe following a ‘highly competitive’ tender.

Matt Thomas, managing director of Searcys said: “We are delighted by the confidence ICAEW has shown in appointing us.  We very much enjoy working with clients whom mirror our own values.

“Such values include a dedication to staff training and development that will allow their loyal team to prosper under our management.”

The win for Searcys comes ahead of a re-launch of One Moorgate Place’s recently refurbished great hall, which has a capacity of 600.  Alongside the great hall, the venue also boasts an auditorium with a capacity of 107 as well as other meeting rooms for events for up to 60 people.

Sharron Gunn, executive director at ICAEW said: “It was important that we selected the right partner to work with us at this special venue, and we are therefore delighted to appoint Searcys and look forward to working with them over the coming years.”
One Moorgate Place joins the list of famous buildings in London served by Searcys, which includes The Gherkin and St Pancras International Station.

Thomas added: “In addition to our combined intent to deliver great food and appropriate service, One Moorgate Place will benefit from access to our Exclusive Events team.

“This centralised service will act as an extension to One Moorgate Place’s sales team as we work together to promote further the venue’s presence in the marketplace.”
