Abstract
ScotHot, the Scottish food, drink, hospitality and tourism trade event, is returning to Glasgow next year in collaboration with Scottish Tourism Week.

The trade show will take place on 15-16th March at Glasgow's SECC and registrations are now open.

Toby Wand, managing director of Fresh Montgomery, said: ‘’The industry’s appetite for ScotHot just continues to grow year on year. As a place where businesses can trade and head hunt, and a platform for chefs to showcase their skills and experts to trade knowledge, it’s a beneficial experience for all.

"We are delighted that ScotHot will once again be the centrepiece of the opening of ‘Scottish Tourism Week’ and expect to welcome over 100 brand new exhibitors that haven’t been at the show before. We are looking forward to a packed two days of activity, bigger and better than ever before.”

New features for the 2017 event include Staff Canteen Live and Liquid Academy Live, which will host a number of speaker presentations.

The Scottish Culinary Championships, sponsored by Compass Group, will return for its 32nd year, with awards including the Scottish Chef and Junior Chefs of the Year.

Finally, the Spotlight Stage, sponsored by the Scottish Tourism Alliance, will feature speakers from across the hospitality and tourism sectors, sharing experiences and insight.

ScotHot is a biennial trade show with a heritage of over 40 years. The 2017 event will take place as part of Scottish Tourism Week's 'Signature Events' programme.
