Ramside Event Catering, a subsidiary of Ramside Estates, has been awarded the contract to provide the public bars and food outlets at the tenth Newcastle Pride festival.
John Adamson, director of Ramside Estates, said: “This is a huge coup for us. Newcastle Pride is such a well-established festival, which always attracts huge crowds and we’re really looking forward to being a part of such an inspiring, community event.
“We have managed large scale events such as Hardwick Live and the Lobster and Oyster Festivals in the past but even by our standards, this is a huge catering exercise and it’s not just about quantity, it’s about quality too.
“However, our team is highly experienced and we’re looking forward to serving superb food and drink to everyone attending Pride.”
The LGBT festival attracted more than 73,000 visitors in 2016 and will take place at Newcastle’s Town Moor from July 21st-23rd.
