Abstract
P&G Professional is launching a campaign to find the UK hospitality business most deserving of the crown of “Best of British Hospitality.”

Having supported the industry for over three decades with household names like Fairy, Ariel and Deepio, P&G Professional has embarked on a nationwide search to find operators who are setting the bar high in terms of delivering the ultimate guest experience.

Supported by the British Hospitality Association (BHA), this nationwide search launches as part of P&G Professional’s “Proud Sponsors of British Hospitality 30 Years On” campaign full of initiatives over the next eight months to support independent operators as they structure their businesses for success amidst the tough economic backdrop.

Jayne Clark, P&G Professional sales director, UK and Ireland said: “We want to celebrate the eclectic and unique nature of independent hospitality businesses in this country because we recognise they’re the backbone of the British hospitality industry. For over 30 years, we’ve been committed to helping nurture independent businesses to help them deliver the guest satisfaction that makes British Hospitality so great; because as an industry, we’re stronger together.”

Alan Parker, Chairman, British Hospitality Association said: “We are delighted to be able to back this unique P&G Professional initiative which puts the spotlight on the creativity and dynamism of Britain’s best independent hospitality business owners. Times remain tough for operators which is why we fully support campaigns that can help businesses grow and learn together; by doing so, we are not only building a stronger industry, but we are creating better experiences for guests.”

To enter the nationwide search, operators can visit www.pgpro.co.uk/bestofbritish, enter their personal details and tell us the one thing they’ve done to improve the guest experience in their establishment.

Entries will be assessed by an independent judge based on their uniqueness. There will be three cash prizes of £1,000 up for grabs as well as the chance for one operator to star in their very own P&G Professional video masterclass.
