Abstract
Restaurateur Paul Goodale is to host this year’s CEDA Conference gala dinner and Grand Prix Awards at the St George’s Park Hilton on the 15th April 2016.

Goodale, who hosted the event for the first time last year, brings more than 20 years experience in restaurants and developing foodservice concepts.

Adam Mason, CEDA director general, said: “We know Paul as a great keynote speaker from previous CEDA conferences and are delighted he has agreed again to host our Gala Dinner and Grand Prix Awards evening. We know Paul will add his unique brand of humour and vitality to the evening and make it most memorable for all there.”

Paul became the youngest FTSE CEO in 2008 and is presently director of Epicurean Holdings, a consultancy that he founded in 2009. Latterly he was director of restaurants and kitchens at Harrods, where he over-saw a transformation of the hospitality offer.

In 2011, Paul co-founded PizzaLuxe Group, which grew from a Brick Lane market stall to subsequently open stores in Westfield Stratford City and Leeds Trinity Kitchen. He also co-founded Fred's Food Construction, which was Tesco's first seed capital hospitality investment.

The CEDA 2016 Conference, 14-15 April, is being held at The Hilton, St George's Park, Burton upon Trent. To register as a delegate go to www.cedaconference.co.uk
