Abstract
New York Bagel Co. is touring the UK this summer in its brand new ‘Bagel Bus,’ in attempt to “increase brand awareness and cement its place as the go-to bagel brand, in and out-of-home.”

With 16 stops currently planned, including music concerts at London Stadium and sporting events at both Wembley and Silverstone, the company will offer a variety of New York-inspired fillings, including ‘classic’ cream cheese and salmon; little Italy; and the ‘ultimate’ New York bagel.

The move comes as the company seeks to build its out-of-home offering, with department marketing manager, Philippa Knight, commenting: “We know that people love New York Bagel Co. bagels and we want to shake up food offerings at events from what they are traditionally used to.

“With the demand for American-inspired food showing no sign of slowing down, the bagel bus is the perfect way to create an authentic New York experience in the UK.

To do so, the company has partnered with event and festival company, Freemans Events Partners. Managing director Stephen Freeman added: “We’re excited to partner with the New York Bakery Co. as we focus on expanding our food-to-go offering across the UK and Europe.

“The relationship presents a powerful opportunity to expand the event-goer’s foodie experience by inspiring them with a much-loved favourite in an out-of-home setting.

“We’re looking forward to watching the partnership grow as the New York Bakery Co. bus stops off at world-renowned venues across the country.”
