Abstract
Foodservice and business support services firm Mount Charles has announced it has recruited nine people to key roles within the business.

Managing director of Mount Charles. Cathal Geoghegan said: “In the last five years we’ve created new divisions such as cleaning, security and outside event catering and beverage provision, seeing total employee numbers shoot up to around 2,000.

“In the last year alone we’ve won new contracts worth over £7million so the deliberate strategy to grow the business through diversification has so far been successful.

“Not content to rest on our laurels however, the question over the past 12 months has been one of how best ensure future growth, and the answer for us was to complement our existing team with further talented professionals who together will drive the business forward.”

The new appointments are: Ian Todd, director of finance & IT; Bryan Hill, business development manager; David Phelan, senior bid manager; Janice Stewart, group manager; Leo McNamee, regional manager; Nicola Looby, operations manager; Niall Donnelly, key account manager; Mirian Stevenson, brand & marketing manager; and group development chef, Simon Toye.
