Valued at over £48 million, the contract will see around 400 people deliver services including patient catering, pest control and uniform management.

Medirest, which has provided the hospital trust with retail services for over 15 years, will refurbish its retail space to introduce a new Wellspring Restaurant offering healthy food options under 500 calories, a self service salad bar and a pop-up counter offering global foods.
