Abstract
To coincide with Afternoon Tea Week (w/c 14 August), Lord’s Cricket Ground has released new dates for its afternoon tea packages.

Taking place in the venue’s Long Room, the traditional spread will include freshly baked scones with homemade jam and Cornish clotted cream, finger sandwiches as well as an array of other small delicacies.

Head of sales, meetings & events and hospitality at Marylebone Cricket Club, Nick Kenton said: “Afternoon tea at Lord’s is always a unique and memorable occasion. It’s one of those typically British experiences that is not to be missed. With the views of the outfield from the Long Room, it’s a very popular choice for afternoon tea which is why we have added new dates for 2017.”

The event will now run from 13 August until 10 December, and will cost between £48 and £59 per guest depending if they would like a glass of Champagne.

Unlike Lords's public areas the 'Food Village', 'Nursery Pavilion' and 'Nursery Lodge' which use external caterers; afternoon tea events, hospitality venues and all private boxes and onsite restaurants are catered for by in-house staff.
