Klaus Goeldenbot appointed Nisbets CEO

Nisbets plc. has announced that Klaus Goeldenbot is set to take over from Paul McMahon as its chief executive offer, effective from 4 September.

Goeldenbot has joined the catering equipment supplier following 15 years at RS Components where his last role was as president of the company.

Nisbets chairman, Andrew Nisbet, said: “I am delighted to welcome Klaus as Nisbets chief executive. Attracting someone of Klaus’s calibre is a reflection of the strength and culture of our business.

“Klaus brings excellent knowledge and experience to the business as we continue to drive our ambitious growth plans.

“I would like to personally thank Paul McMahon for presiding as Nisbets managing director for the last 19 years.  Paul has overseen an incredible growth period  and it has been an absolute pleasure to have worked with him."

In addition to his years spent at electronics and industrial components company, RS, which has a turnover of £1.2 billion, Goledenbot was with German wholesalers Wϋrth for ten years.

Goeldenbot said: “I am very excited to be working with everyone at Nisbets to write the next successful chapter of the its story.
