Abstract
A kickstarter has been launched to fund the ‘world’s first’ self-warming mug.
The KOPI mug claims to be a “smart, all-in-one self warming mug and brew system.”
When KOPI is places on its wireless and waterproof charging pad, the particles react via electromagnetic energy and heat the drink to the ‘perfect’ sipping temperature.
It also uses wireless Qi technology, meaning it is able to charge phones with wireless charging enabled.
Add-on options include a coffee or tea filter, glass pitcher, titanium stirring rod, and a small or large canister.
Currently, $25.273 (£19,236) has been pledged out of the $30,000 (£22,834) goal with 225 backers and 37 days to go.
