Abstract
Jockey Club Catering, the food and beverage partner to The Jockey Club, participated in Keep Britain Tidy’s annual Great British Spring Clean.

Jockey Club Catering has a portfolio of 15 racecourses delivering over 333 race days a year and catering to an estimated 1.92 million people.

Britain Tidy is an independent charity with three main goals to eliminate litter, end waste and improve places. 14 Jockey Club Catering teams with a total of 60 colleagues took part in the annual event, clocking over 180 hours and helping to collect over 100 bags of litter from their local areas.

Nick Campbell, managing director at Jockey Club Catering said: “We’re really proud to help improve the environments we live and work in. It’s really important that Jockey Club Catering is an organisation that can give back to the community. Well done to all who participated in the 2019 Great British Spring Clean.”

Teams were assembled from 14 racecourses across the country including Cheltenham Racecourse, Aintree Racecourse and Warwick Racecourse.

Jockey Club Catering supports Keep Britain Tidy’s ethos of working with individuals, businesses and public bodies to help care for the environment.
