Abstract
Jestic Foodservice Equipment has increased its investment in the bakery sector by appointing Steven Lamb as bakery product manager.

Lamb previously worked at Benier UK and has experience across the bakery sector, from managing national accounts in the industrial and craft bakery sector to bread and pastry baking.

He said: “To join a company such as Jestic is an extremely exciting opportunity for me. I’m confident that the ability to utilise my experience and apply my in-depth knowledge of the bakery sector will assist the business in establishing itself in this vibrant sector, and very much look forward to working as part of this forward thinking company.”

Steve Loughton, managing director of Jestic Foodservice, said: “For the last ten years, Jestic has been proud to provide its customers with innovative catering solutions in a range of sectors that are continually evolving, thanks to the knowledge of our specialist staff.

“In bringing Steven’s expertise to the team, we are able to maintain that same level of innovation to commercial bakery, one of our newer product sectors, and offering that to our customers is crucial in order to adhere to the Jestic ethos of ongoing excellent service.”

Lamb will now work closely with Jestic’s design team to expand upon the company’s existing development kitchen, which is set to be extended to include a dedicated menu development area and tasting facility for bakery customers.
