Abstract
Midshire Services – an independent contract catering and soft facilities management company – has appointed Andrew Pemberton as its new sales director.

With over 25 years experience in the catering and hospitality industry and having previously worked for both the catering company, Taylor Shaw and financial consultancy De Vere Group, Pemberton has more recently transitioned into the education industry.

His appointment at Midshire Services will see him support the company as they hope to expand into the education sector, and continue to grow its client base within the business and industry (B&I), leisure and health sectors.

Pemberton said: “I’m looking forward to building Midshire Services’s client base in general and supporting them in becoming a key player in the education sector.

“I see our offering to the education sector as being much broader than simply catering. This is a fast moving, trend driven sector and it presents an exciting opportunity for us to get creative and add value. I know that the Midshire team have extensive experience and knowledge that we can share with pupils and students as part of our offering, and that includes supporting enterprise initiatives such as apprenticeships as well as curriculum based activities.”

Sue Bradwell, managing director of Midshire Services added: “Andrew has substantial hands on knowledge of the catering and hospitality industries as well as extensive sales experience.  He is a great asset to the team and will be integral to delivering our business development goals.”

Midshire Services serve over 10,000 of their clients’ customers, employees and students throughout the UK and across the B&I, leisure services, education and health sectors.
