Abstract
Hubbard Products Ltd. has added to their commercial refrigeration division by partnering with Daikin Air Conditioning’s refrigeration products, and by the transfer of two of its business team.

Daikin UK have transferred Paul Cornwell and Nicky May to Hubbard so that the companies could be coordinated through Hubbard Products with the hope of providing customers with a wider range of refrigeration solutions.

Daikin’s Heat Recovery Conveni-Pack, which it says provides retailers with free heat recovered from the refrigeration cycle, as well as its ZEAS Refrigeration Condensing Units, are all now available through Hubbard Products.

Hubbard commercial director Dougie Stoddart said: “The ability to integrate Daikin’s significant knowledge and expertise of low leakage, highly efficient refrigeration equipment with Hubbard Products’ established Commercial Refrigeration Team will allow us to offer one of the widest ranges of convenience store heating and cooling solutions in a single package.

“The benefits of such systems go far beyond the traditional convenience store refrigeration USPs of low energy usage, reduced running costs and low noise.

“By combining heat recovery and air conditioning with a single refrigeration system users can benefit from reduced insurance costs, by removing the need for gas fired heating plant, through to low cost financing and support from The Carbon Trust Green Business Fund.”
