Houston & Hawkes renews exclusive partnership with chef Sally Abé

Independent business and industry caterer Houston & Hawkes has renewed their exclusive partnership with Great British Menu 2022 finalist Sally Abé, who is the consultant chef of The Pem at the Conrad London St James hotel.

Abé will continue to provide strategic food development support and lead several training initiatives including interactive cookery masterclasses as well as offering chef stages at her restaurant, The Pem. She is also supporting the launch of a female networking initiative the caterer is planning for 2024.

Commenting on the news, she said: I’ve loved working with David Steel and the team at Houston & Hawkes and I’m really excited to continue our partnership. I’ve been amazed by the quality and passion of everyone in the business and it’s been a real privilege to play a small part in the company’s continued success.”

Houston & Hawkes was founded by Simon Houston and Dave Hawkes in 2019 and provides bespoke and personalised catering and hospitality services to business and industry clients across London and South-East England.

David Steel, director of food at Houston & Hawkes, added: “The team have really appreciated working with Sally, and her passion, energy and experience has been invaluable. Inspiring and enhancing our chefs’ technical skills is fundamental in enabling us to deliver exceptional food standards and Sally’s played a key part in this.”
