Abstract
A new survey from job website CV Library has found that 63.6% of workers in the hospitality sector believe their job has had a positive impact on their health.

CV Library found that 28.6% said they have lost weight as a result of eating more healthy food.

Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV-Library, said: “Weight gain at work is not uncommon, but it’s clear from this data that being in an active job, such as hospitality, is having a positive impact of the health of those in the sector.

“Making healthy choices at work could improve your performance throughout the day, and leave you feeling less lethargic post-lunch, something that professionals in the sector are clearly taking into consideration.”

The survey also found that despite 77.3% of hospitality professionals revealing their colleagues often bring in unhealthy snacks, 29.4% said they find them easy to resist.
