Abstract
Job vacancies in the hospitality industry increased by 31.4% last month, according to a study from CV library, the independent job board.

The study also showed that applications for hospitality roles rose by 11.7% during the same period.

“Lee Biggins, founder and manager of CV Library, said: “It’s great to see that business confidence is keeping strong in the hospitality industry and the promising rise in job numbers is particularly good news for candidates looking for new opportunities.”

The study, which analysed job market activity across the UK, revealed that the hospitality was one of the top 10 industries where job numbers are rising, with catering at number two and hospitality at number three.

Biggins said: “It’s clear that the sector’s job market is staying strong, and this is particularly important now Brexit negotiations are officially underway.

“For those looking to take the next step in their career, the hospitality industry could be the key to finding your dream role!”
