29th Nov 2007 - 00:00
Abstract
Contract Caterer Holroyd Howe has won two three year contracts in London and Bath worth nearly £10 million.
The caterer has gained a £6m combined total turnover contract deal with Standard Chartered Bank in London, and £3.9m combined contract with Wessex Water in Bath. The £6m contract at Standard bank will see Holroyd provide fine-dining, hospitality, staff restaurant, deli and coffee bar services, as well as vending across three of the bank's London offices. Anthony Hamilton-Briscoe, head of facilities Europe at Standard Chartered Bank, said: "After an extensive tender process led by Tricon Food Consultants we chose Holroyd Howe because we felt they showed a true understanding of our requirements in meeting the needs of our employees and clients." Holroyd will be providing staff dining, hospitality and vending services for 580 staff members at the Wessex Water's Claverton Down headquarters. Sustainable food sources, seasonal local ingredients and minimising the use of disposable materials will be part of the policy. Holroyd Howe has a total of 127 contracts, and an annual turnover of £45m.
