Abstract
HIT Training, the apprenticeship provider for the hospitality industry, has announced a three year partnership with The Springboard Charity, which helps the youth and unemployed into work.

As both Corporate Patron and Business Partner, HIT Training will be involved with Springboard’s charity initiatives including CareerScope, providing expert advice, the Kickstart Programme, providing training and work placements, and the Ambassador Programme, which aims to inspire recruits into the industry.

Jill Whittaker, managing director of HIT Training, said: “Through our partnership we will be working in unison with The Springboard Charity to raise awareness of the viable career paths in hospitality and break the stigmas around working in the industry.

HIT Training will also support the charity’s fundraising events and activities as part of the partnership, which will run until March 2020.

Anne Pierce, chief executive of The Springboard Charity, said: “We are committed to supporting young people, unemployed and those with barriers to work into sustainable employment within the hospitality, leisure and tourism sectors.

“We are delighted to be working with HIT Training, the largest provider of hospitality apprenticeships, and our partnership reflects our trust that real quality will be delivered.”
