Abstract
HC3S, Hampshire County Council Catering Services, are celebrating having won the gold award in the Schools, Colleges and Universities category at the FreeFrom Eating Out Awards 2016.
The judging panel said: “‘What I love is that where possible all children receive the same food - where at all possible all food is suitable for free from diets. So, for example, all the fish fingers are gluten free, dairy free etc and are served to all children regardless of whether they have an allergy. This makes it firstly easier to serve and administer but also means it is all inclusive. I wished this had been the case when my children were at primary school.”
The HC3S Food Development team, Sarah Doling and John Foskett, were in attendance on the night to receive the award.
