Abstract
Ian Sarson, group managing director, Compass Group UK and Ireland, has been awarded an honorary doctorate for his services to business by Sheffield Hallam University.
Sarson, who leads the UK and Ireland division of Compass Group UK & Ireland, also took time to offer advice to graduates from Sheffield Business School at Sheffield Hallam University during the graduation ceremony at Sheffield City Hall on Thursday 17 November. He commented on his achievement: "I'm so honoured to receive this doctorate. The calibre of graduates we have worked with has been exemplary and I hope to be a part of the University for many years to come."
