Abstract
Global Infusion Group (GIG), a specialist event and concert caterer, delivered more than 200 unique dressing room riders over the first two weekends of July at the Barclaycard British Summer Time Hyde Park Festival.

In addition to the riders, which are requests for a specific food or drink item made by performers, GIG served more than 3,000 lunches and dinners, and around 600 breakfasts on both weekends.

GIG was appointed the role by AEG Live and has been supplying services and catering to the festival since its inception in 2013.

Katy Turner, GIG’s operations manager, said: “We’re really proud to have worked on this event for its five year history, and it is a job we always look forward to. The crews always tell us how excited they are to eat our food again.”

GIG, which began in 1984 as Eat to the Beat, currently employs 130 full-time staff and 3,000 freelance professional specialists who work across the company’s events, which included the last two Olympic Games, in London and Rio de Janeiro.
