Abstract
An infographic detailing the growth and development of catering technology has been released by commercial machines manufacturer JLA.
The graphic shows how developments in catering technology have drastically reduced cooking times, increased operational controls for chefs and presented the opportunity for 1,000s of pre-set programmes.
Looking to the future, the company suggests the option of cooking more foods at the same time could be possible in combi-oven, phone apps could play a part in control cooking, and 3D printing could be utilised by chefs.
