In the week where a cancer victim won a landmark court case to give her the right to return from the dead, we found lots of great food facts.

A bungee jumper recently broke the world record for the highest biscuit dunk. Simon Berry from Sheffield bungee jumped 75m before successfully dunking a chocolate hobnob into a mug of tea.

Lobsters were once considered the poor man's chicken. In Colonial times, it was fed to pigs and goats and only eaten by paupers.

Size really does matter. Well, if you’re a pepper that is. The smaller the peppercorn the hotter it tastes, but as they grow they lose a little heat while their aroma intensifies.

Kentucky Fried Chicken is known as KFC the world over, with one exception. In the French speaking Canadian province of Quebec the strict language laws mean it operates as PFK – Poulet Frit Kentucky. They don’t insist on that even in France!
