Abstract
In the week where Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has banned his players from eating pizza, to the despair of defender Gaël Clichy, we found lots of tasty food facts.

The vinegar added to flavour salt and vinegar crisps is not liquid. It is made by spraying vinegar onto food starch that absorbs the flavour and is then dried to a powder before being added to the recipe.

Cockroaches will eat pretty much everything, faeces, dead humans, even their own young, but give them a cucumber and they’ll run a mile! They get terrible gas if they eat it.

Ever get impatient waiting for your fruit to ripen? If you need to speed up the ripening process of an avocado, put a banana or apple around it. Fruits such as these give off ethylene gas which helps ripen your fruit. FAST!

The world’s strongest beer, appropriately named Snake Venom, boasts an enormous 67.5% ABV. Which makes drinking Carlsberg’s 5% ABV and Guinness’ 4% look like water by comparison. Snake Venom is so strong it’s recommended you only drink 35ml in one sitting. By comparison, a pint equates to 568ml.

A ‘cork-tease’ is someone who constantly talks about the wine he or she will open but never does.
