Abstract
With the government, its opposition and the economy in complete disarray, take some refuge in the stability of yet more of your favourite Friday Food Facts.

KFC was one of the first fast food franchises to move into Asian markets. The chain’s slogan used to be ‘finger-licking good,’ which was changed in 2011. as KFC didn’t do such a good job of translating its slogan when it moved into China. The slogan was erroneously translated into Chinese as ‘eat your fingers off.’ Doesn’t sound quite as tasty, does it?

Have you ever noticed maple syrup doesn’t freeze? Probably not but it’s true. The syrup is derived from the sap of maple trees - the only food to come from tree sap. Over time the sap has evolved to act as an antifreeze for the tree, preventing it from being damaged during cold months, hence the syrup remains in it original state, even when frozen.
