The app will offer a day and night service. The lunch service allows customers to order, pay and collect lunch from a collection point while a night service allows customers to pre-select orders a special night menu between 10pm and 6am.
Mark Sullivan, chairman of Warrens Bakery, said: “We’ve been selling baked goods to customers in Somerset, Devon, and Cornwall for over 150 years and we’re excited to be bringing in a 21st century angle to our Fresh from Warrens brand in Derriford hospital.
“Helping staff, visitors and patients get healthy food and drink when it suits them will help us bring real value to the hospital.”
The app is powered by Preoday technology and will be available on both the Apple App store and Google Play.
