Abstract
FoodTalk Awards crowned its 2018 winners this week (25 June) - celebrating the “best creative minds in food and drink, from food and design to packaging and technology.”

With over 250 entries, judges awarded a number of gold and silver medals, praising each and every business for “sinking their heart, soul and creative energy into improving the industry through new product development.”

Founder and presenter Sue Nelson commented: “We had some of the best names in food and drink on our panel and we all agreed judging was tough: every entry was of a super-high standard and each one unique.

“We checked out innovative sustainable packaging, amazing technology and thoughtful artisan products. Obviously we had to taste a lot of incredible food and drink products, too!
