Abstract
Foodbuy, the food and drink procurement company, has raised over £90,000 for its charity partner Duchenne UK in the Duchenne Dash charity bike ride.

The event saw 150 cyclists, 13 from Foodbuy, cover almost 200 miles from London to Paris over the course of 24 hours.

Oliver Cock, managing director of Foodbuy, said: “I’m incredibly proud of the team who completed the ride and everyone who helped us fundraise along the way - sponsors, suppliers, partners and colleagues, it has been a true team effort!

“Riding from London to Paris is a gruelling experience and takes months of preparation but knowing you’ve raised more than £90,000 for such a wonderful charity makes it all worthwhile.”

Foodbuy initially set out to raise £50,000 and put on fundraising activities such as hosting a gala dinner at the Kia Oval, London, office bake sales, and selling sponsor space on their cycling uniforms.

The company announced its partnership with Duchenne UK, the charity working to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, earlier this year.
