Final four announced in Blue Arrow Chef of the Year competition
Abstract
Last week’s semi finals in London and Edinburgh saw chefs from BaxterStorey, Servest Catering and Kings Head House emerge as the final four in the Blue Arrow Chef of the Year competition.

After two hours of cooking at Leiths School of Food and Wine, Michal Wlodarczyk, Head Chef at Kings Head House and Rhys Richardson, Development Chef at Servest Catering were announced as the two London semi final winners.

In the semi final at the Edinburgh School of Food and Wine on the same day, Rian Devaney, Chef de Partie, Baxterstorey and Jonathan Taylor, Head Chef, Baxterstorey, were named as the eventual finalists.

Sudha Saha, who has been a part of the annual competition since it began in 2013, said: “The calibre of chefs who enter the competition seems to improve every year. I was particularly impressed with the standard of food produced this year and I am expecting the final to be very exciting.”

The final will take place on November 5th and the winner will take away the coveted title as well as a gastro getaway weekend for two, and a branded chef’s jacket.
