Abstract
KK Anand – the Indian chef of Cinnamon Club and Mint Leaf fame – has partnered with ethical food start-up founder, Navina Bartlett of Coconut Chilli, to launch an Indian catering business that brings “modern Indian-style dining to clients across the UK and the rest of the world.”

Available to hire for both corporate and private events in the UK and beyond, the company, KK and Boss Lady, has created a bespoke menu which includes blackened spice duck legs with coriander root and watercress salad, and gram battered onion rings and wild garlic, with asparagus on South Indian pachadi. All dishes are paired with wine, Champagne and craft ales to “bring diners the complete dining experience.”

Drawing on their experience - Anand having cooked for the Sultan of Brunei, Bill Gates and a number of Indian restaurants worldwide, and Bartlett having opened her own Southern Indian food company, Coconut Chilli - KK and Boss Lady hopes to “reinvent Indian cuisine”, which it will showcase to clients and business through a series of tasting events at its central London kitchen.

Co-founder of KK and Boss Lady, Bartlett said: “KK Anand is an incredibly talented chef who has served food for A-list clients all over the world and we’re looking forward to sharing our modern Indian cuisine with more food lovers.

“KK and Boss Lady will provide a new kind of dining experience – with a focus on an informal dining style and incredible quality and presentation.”
