Abstract
Two East Anglian-based companies, Edwards & Blake and Nwes have joined forces to offer high quality café bar and catering services in the Suffolk Enterprise Centre office complex in Ipswich.

Specialist contract caterer, Edwards & Blake will occupy the fourth floor Kiln Café at Felaw Maltings where it will provide its first non-subsidised, fully commercial operation within an office environment.

The South Maltings part of the complex is managed by Nwes, the business consultancy and premises company.

Adrian Cooke, director of sales and operations, said: “We are very excited to be launching our first fully commercial venture in a multi-tenanted complex.  Our commercial service model which focuses on delivering a range of menus that will maximise sales, is the next logical step in our continued growth and evolution.

“We were delighted to be the first choice for Nwes who were impressed with our extensive B&I experience and our culture of innovation and excellence. We’re looking forward to developing our partnership and exploring further opportunities with Nwes in the near future.”

In collaboration with Nwes, Edwards & Blake has refurbished and rebranded the dining area to reflect its high-quality offering of high-street style food and beverage menus to the 450+ tenants and members of the public. Hospitality will also be provided for events and special occasions.

Linsey Cullen, Manager of Nwes Suffolk Operations said: “We are delighted to have Edwards & Blake on board at Suffolk Enterprise Centre and are looking forward to seeing the Kiln Cafe blossom over the coming weeks and months.

“There are a number of key improvements being made to the centre to provide the best added value to our tenants, and a locally-sourced, high-quality catering option is absolutely key to this vision.”
