Abstract
Drake & Morgan has teamed up with contract caterer Delaware North to open its first airport restaurant and bar at Heathrow’s Terminal 4 this summer.

The Commission by Drake & Morgan will be a new casual all-day dining concept created exclusively for the iarport and will occupy a 4,800 sq ft space and will offer 170 covers, open from first to last flight daily.

Jillian MacLean, managing director at Drake & Morgan, said: “Our all-day bar and dining format is ideal for transport hubs and we are working closely with Delaware North to deliver a fresh new concept designed specifically to appeal to travellers, from business passengers through to families.”

The new all day format will offer breakfast and brunch through to lunch and supper, as well as coffees and cocktails and will also offer a grab and go format.

Doug Tetley, managing director at Delaware North, said: “We are so excited to be working with Jillian and the team at Drake & Morgan. I am confident that The Commission with its unique offer that ranges from breakfast through to cocktails will appeal to the wide cross-section of travellers arriving at Terminal 4.”

Ben Crowley, Heathrow’s head of food and beverage, said: “Drake & Morgan is an incredibly exciting brand and I am delighted to welcome them to Heathrow.

“We have been keen to expand the bar concepts available at Heathrow for some time and this proposal will provide a real point of difference for Terminal 4 with a quintessentially British touch.”
