Abstract
Crown Partnership, the catering, hospitality and event services provider, has launched a new Asian catering brand.

Mazaa will offer full banqueting services for Asian and Indian weddings and events; including catering, event planning, design and management.

Charles Beer, senior partner of Crown Partnership, said: “Following the success of The Perfect Wedding Company London - which led to the recent expansion of The Perfect Wedding Company Essex - as well as success with The Event Hire Company’s event styling side of the business, we felt that it was the ideal time to move into the growing market of Asian weddings and events.

“We’ve recruited World Master Chef Pramodkumar Prasanthbhavan Maniyan, who has been cooking innovative, multicultural food for over 14 years; so we are confident that Mazaa will deliver authentic, fantastic quality food.

"This will be supported by professional, bespoke wedding planning and event styling. We’re introducing Mazaa into London’s Gibson Hall and The Chichester Hotel in Essex initially, with a view to then roll it out to all of our listed partner venues across London.”

Mazaa head chef Pramodkumar spent the early part of his culinary career in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Miami, before coming to the UK in 2009. He has since delivered events at venues across London, including the British Library and Kew Botanical Gardens, and worked with Michelin-starred chefs Alfred Prasad and Atul Kochhar.
