Cost Sector Catering readers unanimously agree in latest poll
Abstract
95% of Cost Sector Catering readers that responded to a poll agree that there is a role for school caterers in tackling the holiday hunger issue.

The issue of children going hungry during the holiday periods has been much discussed recently and a one day event was held at Sheffield Hallam University in June, which was attended by school caterers and experts in field of poverty and education.

At the LACA Main Event in July, Lindsay Graham, chair of the APPG School Food ‘Holiday Hunger Task Force’, said that schools have the skills, sites and kitchens to be able to make an impact. Read the LACA Main Event round up in the August issue of CSC, here.

A new poll has now been launched that asks catering operators if they are engaged with social media. Voting is now open so cast your vote here.
