Contract caterer Talkington Bates secures £2.5 million worth of new deals

Oxfordshire-based catering company, Talkington Bates, has secured three new contract wins worth of a total of £2.5 million.

The ‘bespoke’ contract caterer won the rights to provide food services at the headquarters of three large companies based in London.

The new contracts are with finance company, The Falcon Group, the European Banking Authority-both based in the City- and the International Institute of Anti-Ageing (IIAA), located in Barnet, North London.

The IIAA offices are located in the same premises as those of JVCKenwood and Casio, meaning the two companies will also be able to make use of Talkington Bates’s catering services.

The group said that the three different wins highlight the its “versatile approach to catering with each business presenting unique demands”.

Janice Talkington, joint managing director of Talkington Bates, said: “We have always been committed to providing the absolute highest standard of catering and these recent contract wins are testament to this.

“Our insistence on bespoke solutions has a proven track record and by continuing to put our clients at the heart of everything we do, I’m confident that we can continue to deliver innovative solutions to all types of businesses.

In addition to the new deals, Talkington Bates has retained its contract with pharmaceutical manufacturer, Bio Products Laboratory (BPL), which its has been working with for the last three years during which time its sales have increased by over 100%.

Joseph Fennell, head of site engineering at BPL, said: “Re-awarding the business to Talkington Bates was a really easy choice.

“Since they took over operations three years ago the results have been fantastic with individuals often commenting on the standard of food provided.

“We are very much looking forward to developing our relationship with them as we move towards a new phase of improvements and customer engagement.”
