Seven chefs from the Compass Group Ireland displayed their skills at the Chef Ireland 2017 Culinary Competition at the exhibition and won four bronze medals and a certificate of merit in various categories.
Ryan Holmes, culinary director for Compass Group Ireland, said: “I am extremely proud of all of our chefs that have taken part in these competitions. Many of our entries in the Chef Ireland 2017 Culinary Competition were junior chefs so it was great that they had the opportunity to showcase their skills and dedication, which they put into their work on a day-to-day basis.
“The competitions provide us with opportunities to demonstrate the talent we have developed within the Irish business and it is great that our chefs have experienced excellent culinary success in the past year.”
