Abstract
Catering by Churchill has signed a £4 million deal with the Capital City College Group, to transform foodservices across the group’s London-based estate.

Having begun 1 August, the five-year contact will see Churchill deliver services to 26,000 students across nine campuses, ranging from cafés and restaurants to hospitality and vending.

It will also be responsible for refurbishing the group’s eateries, to “create student centric destinations with a range of new food and beverage concepts designed to meet customer tastes.” To encourage students to stay and eat on-campus, Churchill has also be briefed to “deliver a relevant ‘high street’ experience”, with a focus on contemporary foods and customer service.

Managing director of Catering by Churchill, Rebecca Bridgement, said: “We will use our forward thinking approach and extensive knowledge of the further education sector to ensure a smooth transition and deliver a high standard of product and service. Providing an outstanding customer service is paramount to our success.”
