Children’s Food Trust shortlisted for Charity Awards 2016
Abstract
The Children’s Food Trust has been shortlisted for the Charity Awards 2016 in the Children and Youth category for its Let’s Get Cooking programme.

The programme gives children and families the skills to cook from scratch and has reached more than three million people with healthy cooking skills since its launch.

Children’s Food Trust CEO, Linda Cregan, said: “We’re delighted to have been shortlisted. Let’s Get Cooking is making a difference to the way children and families eat around the country and our mission now is to make sure even more children get the chance to be part of a Let’s Get Cooking club, to develop the cooking skills which will help them eat well for the rest of their lives.”

The awards evening will take place on June 9th at the Mermaid Theatre in London’s Blackfriars and will be hosted by former BBC Breakfast presenter Bull Turnbull.

The Charity Awards is an annual event held to recognise organisations doing exceptional work in all areas of charitable activity.
